I’ve never known anyone, apart from a few far left cranks I knew back in the early 90’s, that wants equality of outcome. Equality of opportunity, OTOH, is the main goal.

The question is, how do you gain equality of opportunity when the wealthiest 1% stack the deck against the remaining 99%?
