In my case, what my past was, and what I am now are reversed.

During High School and the first 2 years of College, I was a Liberal looking for compromise from Conservatives that were intent on bullying me.

Now, I am a Hardened Socialist that tends to attack and persecute conservatives looking for common ground, with one exception. And that exception came from her admitting that she was willingly letting me emotionally attack her because she thought I had a right to be angry. Which made made me ashamed and made me stop.

No point in attacking people who actually engage in good faith efforts to find common ground.

We need all the allies we can get. Don’t be like the wingnuts.
