It’s completely not my genre. Of the roughly 7000 books I own, exactly zero are Harlequin bodice rippers. But I remember seeing his ubiquitous mug on like every single one (when I used to go to bookstores).

It was the hair. You didn’t notice the face, because OMG what beautiful hair!! (the shoulders and pecs were nice too. but mostly it was THE HAIR)
