Agreed - my point was that the Republican Party Platform has nothing resembling acceptance of the religious right as their default position. The religious right is a faction among many as evidenced by our dialogues and even arguments here.

I was asking Avanti to cite evidence of his assertion and even provided a link to the GOP 2008 platform to make it easier.
