Well, now you’ve granted that certain acts of law breaking can violate principles and weaken a persons associations with a cause. From there, we are just quibbling about which, without engaging in fallacies, and that brings us back to what I said above:

The problem isn’t the “No True Scotsman”, it is that there isn’t an objective definition of Conservative. But I support throwing out, even post-humously, people who act contrarily to the rule of law and respect for life as Mandy described.
