Wingnut is a contraction of ‘rightwing nut’. It doesn’t mean that everyone on the right is a nut, but refers specifically to the people who ARE nuts on the right. Like the people peddling ACORN fantasies.

And i’d say your need to downding factual statements because you don’t like the facts kills the idea that you’re a rational thinker.

There is evidence of voter registration illegalities and irregularities within the organization resulting in investigations in 17 states resulting in multiple arrests and convictions over the last decade. That indicates a systematic problem within the organization. It does not mean anyone was acting on orders from the board, it suggests the organization has failed to exercise the level of oversight obviously needed to run an group of that size. There is no excuse for that. They are responsible for the actions of their employees. If my company were continually investigated for the misdeeds of my employees, my license to operate would be suspended. I find in unbelievable that an organization that is allowed to register voters is held to a lower standard.
