Doesn’t stop bigots from calling black people “lazy.”

They are descendants of ones who brought black people over from Africa because they were too lazy to do the hard plantation work of raising cotton, sugar cane or tobacco on their own, and the natives kept running away to rejoin their people beyond the edge of the wilderness.
