Post-tropical cyclone Paulette is at 45°N, moving south. There is a chance it will redevelop into a tropical storm.
Another wave SW of the Cabo Verde Islands is in the process of developing into a depression.
Another wave in Africa has the potential to become a depression.
The wave in the Bay of Campeche has been designated Tropical Depression Twenty-Two. It is moving slightly east of north, but is expected to turn westward toward Texas, then NE and rake the entire Texas coastline. It is expected to become a tropical storm but it is too early yet to determine if it will become a hurricane.
Hurricane Teddy is expected to strike Bermuda this weekend (they are still recovering from Hurricane Paulette). Afterwards, it is expected to strike Nova Scotia directly, as a post-tropical hurricane.
