The best thing about falafel is it is healthy yet at the same time really filling. Aforementioned falafel place, Amsterdam has two locations in D.C. One in Adams-Morgan near several bars and another on U Street near the Black Cat theater. So you have something to get full on before or after a night of hitting the bars or seeing music.

The other great thing about falafel is that you can get very experimental/creative once you master the basic recipe/technique.
I like basic falafel, but once I started playing around with adding different ingredients, it got to be a lot of fun.
