Considering the wingnuts screwing up the current GOP ticket, I’d say they are far ahead anything West can do in “alienating moderate voters.”

After all, this is the guy mad because he literally did not get an engraved invitation to the inauguration. Your concerns have been noted, though. I appreciate the altruism behind them.
