We’re still using XP. Our IT department HATES upgrading. Of course, when anyone gets a new system, it has all new stuff, so at some point, they’ll have to upgrade. Probably around Windows XIV.

If I had to use Windows again, I’d try for Win2k (the last really good version) and settle for WinXP (the last acceptable version). Any other version, I’d probably install a linux or bsd and then run Windows McNasty Version in virtualization so I could put up a full screen Potemkin OS as necessary while still being able to get productive work done behind the scenes.
