That’s our problem in this day and age. Most everything is processed with who knows what included. Face it. Most people don’t bother to read the ingredients. Even more couldn’t even pronounce most of what’s on the labels anyway.

Farm-to-table. Oh how I miss that during the winter months when the farmer’s markets around here aren’t happening. I actually discovered a farmer at my local market. His first year there. Pasture raised beef/chicken/pork. Had a ribeye from him a few weeks ago. The best steak I have ever had. Period.

Unfortunately he’s out of eggs for the time being. An owl has deemed his chickens easy pickin’s.

Now back OT… Screw all those Breitbart fools.

I htink it was sci fi author H. Beam Piper (Little Fuzzy, Space Viking, Federation, Lord Calvin of Otherwhen) who had the idea of carniculture…growing meat without the animal, per se.

There has actually been some work in that direction.
