I was just here for that. I mean the Earthquake. That is why I was gone for a while.

I’m in the DC area. The whole building was moving and stuff was moving on my desk.

Earthquakes are surprisingly more frightening then I thought they would be.

Living in CA for 37 years, you get used to anything below 6 being “not a big deal” but… the first one you feel no matter what magnitude is frightening. The first one I felt was when I was about 8 years old. Scared the living crap out of me.
