You cannot be serious.

I’m an artist, art is my life, it’s an extension of my personality. If a Republican were lifting my art to use to promote their politics (which are always opposite mine, and particularly disgusting, bigoted and inhuman these days), I’d be furious and doing everything in my power to stop them

I understand, and I thank you for taking the time to explain this from the artist’s perspective. Personally, I would never extrapolate the playing of a song to an endorsement by the artist of the venue or people present in the venue.
