or the Dems in 94. Hell with the exception of 2002, most first midterms aren’t good for the President. That’s not to say I’m necessarily optimistic but we’ll see what happens.

It almost feels like 2005 all over again WRT the GOP rank-and-file dreaming like they’ve never dreamt before (especially with privatizing Soc-Sec and Medicare) only to see it crumble before them almost immediately.

Not to say they fail to accomplish a damn thing, but if they are already shooting themselves in the proverbial foot with an unnecessary PR disaster ON DAY ONE…
