Well, the general shareholders may think that way, but the board members have to know what a pickle banking is in, and that board ought to know too that their CEO is not winning over the public via his charm.

At least Bernanke is smart enough politically to know how to speak in public, and so do many of the other Fed senior bankers (you almost never find them sticking their feet in their mouths.) However, the banks themselves can be run by the most tone-deaf, it appears.
