Reminds me of one of my most beloved pets, a white rat named Pickles I rescued after a psych major friend in college was done with her from a lab class. That wicked smart little critter was my constant companion for the rest of her life, giving me a good 3 years of joy. I still grieve her loss and miss her hanging out on my shoulder while I do my chores.
