You know GM shrunk their brand lines because they were bloated, right? Why have Buick AND Oldsmobile AND Pontiac AND Saturn all fighting each other for the same dollars? Why have so much badge engineering? They’re competing with themselves. And they needed to stop doing that, and that means closing dealerships so it DOESN’T mean closing GM.
