Walking to the post office and back late tonight… the thought that occupied the caverns of my mind is how difficult it is to change anything that involves humans.

We’re so creatures of habit that change really just creeps along, a bit faster here, a bit slower there, but it just creeps.

As a society we’ve demonstrated over and over that politics is just a game, a form of entertainment (not unlike Ted Talks), where the ultimate goal is just to position ourselves continually in our societal pecking order, in the hopes of not slipping down a notch or two.
