The problem Cruz and Rubio have with the Hispanic/Latino vote is that (and this is merely anecdotal experience on my part), Latinos and Hispanics don’t consider Cubans as part of their demographic.

Do you think that’s because the CUban-American experience differs from your average Hispanic American’s experience i.e. the fact that Cubans have had the special privilege of the wet policy and the fact that they do tend to as both Cruz and Rubio illustrate more conservative than the Hispanic community as a whole. What a lot of people don’t realize though is the Hispanic community is quite diverse.
