We need to include a regular curriculum in school on modern media and how to interpret the messages they send us. I spend a lot of time reminding my children the difference between a real life person and an Internet presence.

Trolls, disinformation spreaders and influencers are banking on our inability to do just that.

And Covid hasn’t helped. We’ve all become better at using the internet and social media, but I think many people out there still don’t understand it. There is waaaaay too much credulousness in online interactions.
