I noticed a comment about a news article with Putin saying nasty things about the US. He said that the United Russia Party was having an issue and was losing popularity.

Does this have a hint of truth?

And what happens when Russia runs out of oil/Europe has much less need of it?

Polls show that UR is slowly but steadily losing popularity, as well as Putin and Medvedev.
