Yeah, this. After Mondale got humiliated on a national scale, the Dems spent the next eight years working to jettison the moonbats and hippies from the nearest airlock.

It’s no accident that the only two Democrats to win since Mondale’s humiliation have been centrists. And it’s also no accident that those same two centrists have been painted as Marxist extremists by an increasingly shrill and obsessed right wing.
