From what I read, that was an early exercise for foreign hackers to start spreading the most ridiculous bullshit through social media channels and see it resounding through the echo chamber with such force that it brought out the Texas National Guard.

That inspired them to spread more totally unfounded, ridiculous and spurious claims because they saw they could never go too far as long as it was anti-Obama or anti-Hillary, like pedophile pizza parlors…
