He’s going to do well with Hispanic communities too. This is someone who has lived and worked in Central America, speaks fluent Spanish, and is governor of a state with a large growing Latino population. I think many white progressives just don’t understand that kind of thing. They think the voting record is all that really matters but they don’t get that politics is about people in the end.
