Heh. Hapkido is Aikido with the hits left in. Actually its all a circle. Aikido starts with gentle energy management skills. Then at or near 1st degree black, you start to hit. In many styles you start learning to hit, then block, then much later learn the energy management gentle skills.

BTW I detest the UFC for bloodlust and teaching that hurting for fame and money is good. Its NOT.
