Wouldn’t shock me. They see these measures as a means of “punishing” women for considering choice. Really if they honestly cared about reducing abortion, they would actually support Planned Parenthood, support real sex education classes, and support helping poor and unwed mothers out. The old milage about them being pro life right until the child is born is very true. Their opposition to abortion is based on one matter and that’s to control women.
