It’s not a “fair point”, it’s the only point. Again, pipe down. Really. It’s terribly annoying.

Speculating about a shooter’s mental state is a blue sky exercise in filling time. There are no names, there are no false facts, it’s just blather. I’d rather that talking heads blather than incite a riot with rumor, innuendo, and “it’s just been reported on Twitter”.

Okay fair enough, I’ll calm down.
