I’ve had the misfortune of being subject to FOX all week (VA hospital, FOX on all stations, all day). Today I learned how Obama and Democrats are failing miserably in leadership over the nuclear disaster, and sending mixed messages and contradicting each other, with sinister undertones about Obama creating more fear. That was quickly followed with learning how Democrats and teachers are indoctrinating children with pro-union doctrine by law, including another fucking replay of that stupid, godforsaken children’s play that Tucker bloody Carlson compared to the Khmer Rouge. (I swear, the fucking shamelessness of FOX.) And, after a few Goldline ads, it was back to how Obama is golfing and picking NCAA brackets while the world burns and showing his weakness and possible complicity in the disasters unfolding everywhere.

I should add for emphasis that that was not spread over the day. That was over the space of fifteen minutes. For those who do not watch FOX, which I assume is most if not all of you, that is what wingnuts are indoctrinated with, all day, every day. When they’re not watching, they’re listening to the same. When they’re not listening, they’re reading that on blogs. Every minute of every day.

There is no room for reason in a mind that addled by hate. There’s no way a reasonable argument can work its way in.
