So this is the story they are hoping will distract America from Romney’s debate performance?

I really doubt he’s going to do badly. During the primaries, ignoring the debate gaffes, he ran ruff-shod over the moderators, ignoring their instructions, demanding and taking time even after it was refused, and he’d interject in new charges interrupting opponents mid-answer, knocking them off balance. He’s also been doing debate prep intensively for months.
