Being shot in an act of political violence and then being blamed for it and mocked by the people who (however indirectly) helped creat the atmosphere for the shooting to happen…

I would be shocked if this goes to a jury. The guy needs competent counseling for what happened. I cannot blame him for being angry. I might well have said the same thing in that circumstance.

I wonder what the Tea Party guy said to set him off…

I’ve got a real short fuse some days and I could see myself saying something really stupid in anger if I had been shot and seen other people die.

(not making excuses…just commenting on my own inability to shut the fuck up at times)
