No, what this shows is how futile the idea of arming everyone for self defense is. The advantage is always to the attacker. Here we have an unarmed opponent in the middle of armed defenders who already know the person is “bad”. You can’t get a more advantageous position for the defenders, and yet the presence of firearms still allows the the attacker to do serious damage which would not have been possible of no one was armed.
