There was at least one sh*t sandwich for Dems in the deal which was banning locally-raised tax dollars in D.C. from being used to for abortion services. AFAIK that ban had actually previously been in place until the Dems managed to lift it in late 2009.

Republican obsession with the fetus is really disturbing.
