Had Gore held NH in 2000, FL would have been a footnote since Gore would have gotten to 270+ without FL. /just sayin’

I don’t think this election is going to be that close (as in 2000). I think it’s going to be much closer to the 2008 turnout and result and the GOP wont be able to blame the loss on a 3d party candidate either.

If the election is close and the GOP still loses, they will look to blame a 3d party challenger because it takes the heat off their massive failures as it avoids the need for introspection over how divisive their policies truly are.
