Practice makes perfect? Personally, I find it easier sometimes to use a wooden spoon, but then, I’m pretty handy in the kitchen, and it sounds like Zedushka is not so much.

He HATES scraping the soup, but not as much as he hates eating soup with scum bits in it. So I promised I would “scrape” the Internet looking for helpful household hints on how to achieve a perfectly clear soup. Some of the foodie sites give these very complicated instructions.

Maybe I will buy one of those fine mesh strainers.
