On a related note, I just finished re-watching When Worlds Collide, George Pal’s end of the world sci-fi epic from 1951. It is one of my favorite old time SF films, mostly because of then 24 year old Barbara Rush, with whom I fell in love the first time I saw the movie.

Don’t remember her name (googles) Oh, I can see why. A really beautiful woman.
