The factual issue with Barton’s speech is that he claimed the $20B will go into a slush fund. Who controls that $20B? Is it the Obama administration, theirs to do with as they please, use it as campaign contributions, or for jobs in threatened congressional districts? Or is it some third party that doesn’t answer to the administration? according to yahoo news, the latter:

For the record, because the point of this post escaped some readers, the fact that a third party not answerable to the administration will be running the fund proves that it is not a slush fund. Barton’s criticism is therefore unfounded.
