She continues to caucus with the Republicans. If I’m not mistaken, they let her keep her committees last month even though she was running against their official candidate. Even aside from the “protect your own” feeling in the Senate, there must have been a good few people there who figured she’d be able to pull off a write-in against Miller. So her bridges aren’t burned in the Senate, not at all.
