A very good point from the TPM article….

…..the vitriol actually masks a deep insecurity that is the Achilles heel of paranoid movements. Liberals cannot effectively exploit that insecurity. We’re too easily absorbed into the paranoid worldview.

Although the left is far healthier than the right they still retain a lot of bad instincts and they have their own radical associations which hold them back. It’s nice to see some lefties can acknowledge that.
