Hey my friend - I don’t know if anyone’s exhibited an “irrational fear” of Ron Paul - his “ideas” are frankly stupid, but I don’t actually see him leading or even close to leading anything resembling a grassroots movement or for that matter, having any genuine impact on the GOP.

Realwest - you might be surprised - what I’m finding that’s happening with Ron Paul is that various groups have glommed onto one or two or three of his positions that they like and agree with, and then they proceed from there.

I don’t see any huge Ron Paul movement that’s having any genuine impact - but what I’ve noticed is lots of smaller groups trying to promote this or that or the other that ends up turning out to be a Ron Paul position. It’s sneaky.
