I had heard claims that authority flows down from the Attorney General to the actions of his DOJ. And additional claims that an appointed AG was legally limited in what they could do. Therefore that many actions at DOJ would be questionable under Whittaker.

Does anyone know of any attempts to challenge DOJ actions on this basis?

Or was that just twitter bulksh… er nonsense?
