You know he’s gone so much (2 weeks, then home 2 weeks). We’ve been married 20 years, but we’ve really only spent 10 years together, LOL.

I try really really hard to be good when he’s home. I can’t imagine him being gone 2 weeks and coming home to a lot of anger and strife. I don’t even have a honey-do list ready when he gets home; if I need something, I wait a few days ‘til he gets settled and then ask if he can do this or that.

I try. I don’t always succeed; but I do try.
