What my life experiences and observations have shown me are some African-Americans who are really “loyal” and “fierce” and “family loyal”, and others who are less so. Kind of like… oh, I dunno… white people.

Very good. Well, there’s a phenomenon at work around Obama, among African-American people, that is highly charged with the kind of emotion that one more often sees connected with family.
