Considering the way the wingnuts are freaking out about Jimmy Kimmel’s monologue, is this a pretty good indication that they — and hopefully legislators — are hearing pushback about not passing Trumpcare? And if so, does this mean we should maybe be calling representatives who’d previously said they wanted to pass it, to see if even they are considering switching back to a No vote?

Kimmel made a good point. The USA is still the world’s leading economic and political power; it’s criminal that its citizens have to worry they might not have enough money to save a loved one from dying in hospital. The ACA, as flawed as it is, opened people’s eyes to the benefits of guaranteed health coverage — less worry, less costs, more security, a better future. Taking it away now would be akin to taking away Social Security — a politically unwise (and impossible) move.
