After the United Airlines DC10 landed at Siuox City I think they tried to recreate the scenario in the simulator and nobody was ever able to pilot that plane to any sort of survivable landing.

I’d be interested to see what happens when they plug this scenario into the simulators.

My guess is that this was another 1 in a million landing, thanks to a brilliant pilot, a lot of training and a little good luck
