Maybe I’m a little pessimistic after the credit downgrade but maybe our days as a superpower are nearing the end. Our banks crashed the global economy and Republicans are hell bent on making things worse. We are lucky enough to be involved in taking out Q’Daffy but I don’t see us expanding our military interventions anytime soon.

Yep. And you know how reluctant to support that lately. I still however see a need for it from time to time despite my recent and somewhat frequent complaining. However, it’s not about me. The irony of this is while the right wing is practically cheering this downgrade they’re forgetting that it will have a negative impact on defense spending and thus limiting our ability for engaging in foreign excursions.

Tomorrow’s the big day. Is this the eve of Black Monday? Any word from the Asian markets yet?
