Pretty good night for trick or treaters, probably about forty total. We’ve had heavier years in past. My kid is sitting a few feet from the front door, in dim light, in a black robe, skull mask & skeleton hand gloves, holding the candy bucket. Waits till someone gets close and then moves. So far two little kids have refused to go get any candy till I went and got it for them. One middle-school girl actually screeched when he spoke. He considers this to have been a Successful Night.
It’s about 8:30. so getting ready to close down soon. Saying goodnight and good wishes to all of the Lizards for about a month — I’ll be on in short bursts, but won’t be able to stay on for the 300+ threads, and will probably miss a few. NaNoWriMo starts at midnight, and I am going to attempt this year to FINISH two half-written novels in the allotted month. The 50,000 word goal should just about do it.
We who are about to die, salute you.
With my shield Airbook, or on it!
