I understand that you are something of a fan of Ayn Rands, and that you disagree with iceweasel’s read of her ‘philosophy’, but to call her a liar on the strength of that is bizarre, and destroys any shred of credibility you might have had in this argument. Pathetic.

The truly pathetic thing here is that I obviously do know quite a bit about Rand, and had Dan not had a meltdown we could even have had a good discussion about it and how Objectivism differs, etc. There was no need to have a freakout. I’ve got a close friend who is an Objectivist and has a PhD in philosophy. That’s one reason why I know this stuff.

But some people consider attacks on their ideas to be attacks on them as people, and they’re incapable of rational and objective (hee) discussion about them.
