No, I’m not surprised. I guess there was a small part of me that was comforted by those on the right who thought maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. It’s been one day, and I already hate the Obama Era.

My dad was on Iwo Jima. He was no Medal of Honor winner, but I was raised with a deep appreciation and sense of awe of our nation’s heroes. The fact that the new CIC would rather press the flesh with what seems like anyone but them frankly makes me sick.
