It’s the big meal for Passover. There is a service that accompanies the meal.
Or, it is the service, where the story of the Exodus is retold, and we are supposed to feel like we are being freed ourselves, by waiting through what seems to be 40 years of a service before we get to the promised meal.
I’ll be going to a Chabad, which had to get a tent this year because it outgrew the rabbi’s dining room, and his do run long.
